The Paradise Garden of Endless Melodies — Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden
An evening set within a historic garden, where sound and landscape unfold together. Guests move through the grounds, gathering between moments of listening, reflection, and conversation.
Led by Tate Egon Chavez, whose work moves between Los Angeles’ experimental music community and institutional spaces, the performance carries a sense of continuity between place, sound, and audience. Live instrumentation and ambient composition shape the pace as the light shifts.

A retail space conceived as a series of lived-in rooms. Material, light, and layout blur the line between store and interior, allowing the space to be explored rather than navigated.
Clothing and objects sit within the environment as part of a larger composition, shaping how the space is experienced over time.

Etai & Felipe Pantone: Parallel Practices — albertz benda
Gallery albertz benda is thrilled to present Parallel Practices: Tailored Structures & Kinetic Surfaces, the first exhibition between Felipe Pantone and Etai set in albertz benda’s Los Angeles house gallery. This exhibition brings together reworked furniture and wall-based works into a single environment. Mid-century pieces are altered and reassembled, layered with Pantone’s graphic language and textile interventions.
The result is a continuous system rather than a collection of objects, where surface, structure, and image move together across the space.

Christian Marclay: The Clock — LACMA
Returning to Los Angeles for the first time since 2015, Christian Marclay’s The Clock is a 24-hour single-channel montage constructed from thousands of moments of cinema and television history depicting the passage of time, excerpted and edited together to create a functioning timepiece synchronized to local time wherever it is shown. The result marks the exact time for the viewer for 24 consecutive hours, weaving together Marclay’s interests in collage and found visual and aural artifacts with his roots in live performance.
Viewed in fragments or in full, it shifts perception, turning time into something observed, shared, and experienced collectively.
